The Lovely as a Tree stamp set has been around for years and it’s well loved! (When I say “years” I mean it, it had been around for several years before I ever became a demonstrator 3 1/2 years ago.) Each time we get ready for retired stamp sets we all hold our breath hoping this stamp set will stick around for yet another catalog. This set is so very versatile and is one of those sets that works well for both masculine and feminine cards. I’ve combined Lovely as a Tree with the Four the Holidays stamp set for this particular card.
This Christmas card is very simple but elegant. In the picture the colors appear to be black and white, however, in real life this card is done in Whisper White and Night of Navy. We are going to be making this card, along with others, at the Stewartstown library for our final Christmas Card Making Class. There is just once spot left for this class if you’re interested!
Once again I’m going to remind you about the Blog Tour that’s coming up starting this Thursday. What fun we’re going to have! I’ve been enjoying my new White Stazon Ink Pad today in preparation for the tour. There is just so much to do with that particular ink pad. Be sure to come back and see what I mean!!!
Here are the two stamp sets used on the card this evening (compliments of Stampin’ Up!):
You can see a Thanksgiving card made with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set by following the link provided. Tomorrow I am stamping with the Shrewsbury Christian Academy Kindergarten class and we’re going to be using stamps from this set for that as well. I’ll share a picture of our project soon.
Thank you for stopping by. Feel free to leave a comment if you feel so led!
