Lovely as a Tree Thanksgiving Card

Holiday Best Stamp SetI’m jumping back to Fall again today for a hand-stamped Thanksgiving card.  I designed this card for a friend and I don’t think she’ll mind if I share it with you.

I made my own background paper using the Stampin’ Up! exclusive Perfect Details texturz plate, Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, a brayer and Bravo Burgundy cardstock.

Lovely as a Tree stamp setThanksgiving handmade cardTo color the leaves I actually used the Color Spritzer Tool and Stampin’ Write Markers (Bravo Burgundy, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun and Old Olive).  It’s a little time consuming to do it that way but it looks really neat!

“Give Thanks” is from the Holiday Best hostess stamp set and I embossed it with gold embossing powder.  The base of the card and the ribbon are So Saffron.  I have a ton of the So Saffron wide grosgrain ribbon left from Sale-A-Bration and being as I’m probably going to be making 100 of these cards, I thought this is a great way to use it!

God's Blessings stamp setOn the inside of the card I used the God’s Blessing stamp set.  This set has wonderful sayings for the insides of cards.  There is a sentiment for new babies, weddings, Christmas, Birthday and more.

Earlier I mentioned Sale-A-Bration, speaking of that wonderful event, I understand there are some great new changes in store for the new year.  You’ll definitely want to get your party booked during the months January, February and March so you  can get in on the special deals!!!
