Making Sense of my Stampin' Sponges

Handmade Stampin' Sponge Storage

What do you do with your Stampin’ Sponges after you’ve used them?  I used to use a piece of sponge, a different color on each side, and then later I never knew which color was used where.  I was given an idea by someone else and took it to make my own creation.

I made this little setup you see here.  I used Bravo Burgundy cardstock to create long little boxes and then stuck them together with Sticky Strip.  A little Taffeta Ribbon and Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and it’s together!

Round Tab Punch

I made a section for each color family, including the in-colors.  The second step is cutting Stampin’ Sponges into pie shapes and then I’m stapling a Round Tab Punch to each labeling the color.  Now (after I get the sponges all made up) I can know where they are and reuse them!

Stampin' Room

I know some of you like to see where I keep my stampin’ things so I went ahead and took a picture.  You can see my little storage container on the top left shelf in this picture.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Tomorrow I’m going to give you information on Stampin’ Up! Accessories Shares I’m hosting, be sure to check back!

I have done exacly what you have done but I went one step ahead – I used Michelle Zindorf’s idea and punched out the matching cardstock and stapled it to each sponge so it is easy to find the sponge you need for your project. I love it -so easy and so organized!! Thank you for sharing – I love your box!!
