Medallion Handstamped Card Fun

Medallion, Vintage Label & En Francais

Today I want to share a card I’m planning to do at a few upcoming classes that I’m holding in people’s homes.  Sometimes when a hostesses schedule parties they like to allow their friends to make multiple cards.  I’m more than happy to work with that!  I have two parties in April where the hostesses will be getting friends together to make 6 cards for the price of $8.00.  We’re going to have loads of fun!

Vintage Label Sale-A-Bration set

To make this card I used three different stamp sets.  I used the En Francais background stamp on the Bashful Blue (hard to see in the picture), the Medallion background stamp and a stamp from the Vintage Label Sale-A-Bration set.  The colors are Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Whisper White and Basic Gray.

I really like the look of this card, how about you?  The Basic Gray Corduroy Button and Satin ribbon give wonderful texture while the Ticket Corner punch and white layers focus attention toward the medallion.

I did not come up with this card on my own, it is my variation of the card that Amanda shared with us for the Birthday card swap.  Thank you Amanda!  Here’s the card Amanda shared with us:

Filigree Brad

It looks to me like Amanda used Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Bravo Burgundy and Very Vanilla.  Amanda’s card is lovely and I am very excited to be able to share her idea and my variation with you!  Do you see how much fun the card swaps can be?  They give us inspiration that we can then take and run with.

I’ll be announcing another card swap before too long so be sure to stay tuned!  In the meantime, I hope you will take a minute to leave a comment for Amanda telling her how lovely her card is!

  1. These are both beautiful, my fav is the blue/gray one tho. I just love the satin ribbon, it really adds the perfect touch to everything!

  2. Both cards are gorgeous! You can’t go wrong with that medallion stamp.
