New & Exciting Stampin' Up! Color Changes

I learned from Stampin’ Up! just yesterday that we have some new and exciting color changes coming up.  Remember Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point?  Do you miss them?  They’re coming back!

Stampin’ Up! has spent 2 years evaluating their color families and what we like.  Instead of “color families” we are now going to be offering “color collections” along with In-Colors as before.  Here is what our new Color Collections look like:  (click on image for a larger view)

Stampin' Up! Color Renovation

Aren’t these exciting colors?  There are familiar colors, some new colors, and some returning colors!  I know it will take a little time for all of us to get used to the changes but, in the end, I think we’ll like it.  Do you see all those new shades of brown?  Maybe you’ll finally get me to use something besides just Chocolate Chip!  (Maybe!)

The brand new colors listed on these sheet are Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, and Cajun Craze.  Crumb Cake seems new but really it’s just a new and exciting name for the Kraft color we currently have.

You will notice that some our current in-colors as well as past in-colors are back to stay.  They include:  Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Tangerine Tango, River Rock, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Wild Wasabi.

In July we will get 5 new in colors to go along with this great list!  There are some exciting changes to the in-color offering but I’m not going to get into details right now, I don’t want to overwhelm!

Of course with the “renovation” that means some colors have to go.  You know what though, as I looked at the Fond Farewell list I only saw a few colors I use on there and even those I don’t use on a regular basis.  Funny how that works!  Check out the list for yourself below.  (Click on image for a larger view.)

Retiring Stampin' Up! Colors

If there is are colors on that list that you really like, don’t panic!  These colors are available until June 30 so you have plenty of time to stock up on cardstock and ink refills and the like.  Of course you are welcome to contact me at any time with an order or use my Online Stampin’ Up! Store to place an order.

I’m curious what your thoughts are.  Do you like the looks of the new colors?  Which do you think you’re going to like working with?   What colors will you miss?  Leave a comment so we can all share together.

  1. Yikes – no Handsome Hunter in my future?! Seriously, I like some of the new colors, but I like all the old ones, too. Adding new colors is always a good thing, but taking away…? I think this will take some major adjustments to my brain! I’m glad to see Razzleberry added, and the paler pink, but sorry to lose the greens and teal and the orchids. The new browns are all “cool” in tone, no warm ones. Ah, well, change happens, so bring it on!! :o)

  2. I agreed with Nancy. I dont want to see some colors go like Handsome Hunter, Close to Cocoa, Brocade Blue, bodering Blue, Glorious Green. some Pink and Purples. However, I do like some of the new or coming back colors like Baja Breeze & Pacific Point. I guess i will get use to the change. So you know Becky that i am going to stock up on my colors. I would like to know, are they going to have a color wheel like before with the new colors on them? I need that.

  3. I will miss Glorious Green, Yo Yo Yellow & Green Galore but I love Wild Wasabi & Rich Razzleberry. Look at all the new “browns” you will have to use Becky!!!! This change will spark us to do something new and different!
