Pines & Poinsettias Frostwood Lodge Card

Pines & Poinsettias and Four the Holidays stamp sets

Isn’t this a beautiful card?  I love it!  I got the original idea from someone else and then changed it up a little.  Those at my party yesterday in Baldwin, MD enjoyed making this card as their make ‘n’ take.  We used the pine cones from the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set and “Merry Christmas” from the Four the Holiday stamp set.

The Frostwood Lodge DSP and Early Espresso Quilted Satin ribbon just set the card off!  Oh and don’t forget the embossing with the Stripes folder!  So many fun elements all together, it just has to be a lovely handmade Christmas card!

I messed up posting the project yesterday.  Took me a while to figure that out so you may have missed the post if you checked before evening.  Be sure to page down and see the fun scrapbook page using up Spice Cake DSP!  It’s a simple scrapbook page, one using up some of those scraps we all have lying around.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

  1. Love both posts! The scrapbook page is terrific, because I can never bring myself to throw away those little scraps of paper. This is a great way to use them! And the card is lovely – I really enjoy the texture the striped embossing lends to the project. 🙂

  2. Deliciously-pretty card! I loved making it, too. 🙂

  3. Is the plaid paper from Stampin Up? Is the Pines and Poinsettias set still available? Thanks!
