Possible Mother's Day Gift?

Ornament Punch Rose

I was at my Mom and Dad’s house yesterday and picked up this little milk can knowing I’d find some way to decorate it.  One of the first things to come to mind was one of the Roses from the Ornament Punch that I did a tutorial on a while back.  What do you think?  The Bashful Blue cardstock that is wrapped around the can is stamped with the roses from the new Elements of Style stamp set that is coming out in May.

I’m tempted to give this back to my mom for Mother’s Day now!  Wonder what she would think?

If you’re still trying to decide what to get your mom for Mother’s Day I hope you’ll sit down and try something handmade, at least a card!  It’s always fun to give a handmade gift!  In the meantime, my hubby told me about a neat drawing for iPads for Moms.  You can always sneak over to the Case Foundation really fast and enter their contest, maybe you’ll win and have your Mother’s Day dilemma taken care of for you!  It’s easy to enter and you just never know!  (Hmmm, wonder if an iPad would fit down inside the milk carton??)

Thanks for stopping by!  Don’t forget to check out the Masculine Get Well card that I posted earlier today.  I used the Nature Silhouettes, Lovely as a Tree and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets along with my favorite colors to create a card my dad really enjoyed receiving!
