Sandy Beach Scrapbook Pages

Sandy Beach Scrapbook Pages

It’s not unusual for me to take pictures of the sand when we’re at the beach.  I’m always thinking about what would make a fun background on a scrapbook page.  One of the beaches in Maine at a really neat look to the sand so of course I took some pictures.  I’ve tried to carry over the texture of the sand into the design of the scrapbook layout. Can you see the texture in the pictures?  I know it’s a little hard to see in the pictures.

I used the Ruffled Embossing Folder on the Saraha Sand strip at the base of the pictures and some retired ruffled ribbon to continue the fun texture.  The texture of the medallions from the Eastern Medallions die set helps too.  There is so much texture going on with this page!

When your 13-year-old son willingly poses for pictures with you, you grab those too!

This layout certainly does not have to hold beach pictures.  You can do just about anything with this layout.  It would be great formal pictures, black & white pictures, outdoor pictures, a frilly tea part, grandma’s sewing or anything else you can come up with!

I look forward to seeing some of you in Scrap Club!
