Scrapbook Club Layouts for September

Baltimore Aquarium Scrapbook page

Yesterday was the first session of the Scrapbook in a Day class.  I was amazed at the participants as they finished twenty 6″x6″ pages in way less than two hours.  All they need to do now is add their choice of pictures and a little journaling and the books will be complete!

All that scrapbooking put me in the scrapbooking mood and I was able to complete all of the layout designs for Scrap Club yesterday afternoon/evening!

We recently purchased year passes for our family to the Baltimore Aquarium.  Of course the Dolphin Show is a hit and naturally a scrapbook page is a must!  Unfortunately it’s incredibly hard to get good, clear pictures, but I tried!

The Big Top Birthday DSP came in handy for this layout.  So fun and just the right shade of blue with the Tempting Turquoise!

At the park

We’ve lived in Stewartstown for 4 years now but I think this is the first time I actually remembered to take the camera to the park with us.  It’s within walking distance of our house . . .

Yes, I’m the person who is crazy enough to go to the park and take a picture of the mulch.  What can I say?  I like to take texture pictures like that, they add a fun dynamic to scrapbook pages!  I kind of wish I’d printed it in 5×7 or even 8×10 size!

These pictures were taken while at the park with a friend on the last day of summer vacation.

First day of Kindergarten

Of course I can’t go without documenting Jaan’s first day of Kindergarten!  I’m so glad he loves school!   I hope he will keep that attitude for many years to come!

I used the Gently Falling 2-step stamp from the Holiday Mini Catalog on this layout.

Yikes!  It’s kind of scary to think that I took all these pictures (from all 3 layouts) within 5 days time.  It’s a good thing I don’t take that many pictures all the time!  Can you imagine the number of pages I would need to make?!

The Scrap Club members will be making these pages on Monday, September 19 at the Mason Dixon Library in Stewartstown, PA!  I look forward to a fun time scrapbooking together!

I’m also looking forward to the second session of the Scrapbook in a Day class tonight.  We have lots of fun pages to make!
