All three of my children fell asleep for a nice long nap yesterday afternoon, it made for some great scrapbooking time! I love this page! When we were at the beach last month I made it a point to take a picture of Ethan’s footprint in the sand. I didn’t have anything specific in mind at the time other than thinking it would be neat on a scrapbook page.
Yesterday as I started scrapbooking the pictures, the poem entitled Footprints in the Sand came to mind. It’s not a poem that would mean a thing to Ethan at this stage in his life but some day when he’s older and looking back, I hope the poem will be meaningful to him. I wrote the poem by hand in the lower left-hand corner.
Here’s his little footprint and some pictures of him playing in the sand. The Nautical Expedition DSP is so much fun isn’t it? Works perfectly for this layout!
I also used the Nautical Expedition DSP in this layout of Jaan at Bethany Beach. I love to take pictures of the water and my family!
It’s fun to cut up the Top Note and then piece it back together in hap-hazard fashion like this for journaling. It makes it easy to put down facts but you don’t have to write in sentences.
This is a very simple layout that will be great for many watery pictures!
As you have probably guessed, these are scrapbook layouts we will be making in Scrap Club next Monday, July 18 at the Mason Dixon Library. If you would like more information on the Scrap Club please contact me, we would love to have you join us!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed these scrapbook pages and the little glimpse at our family vacation.
