Scrapbooking with Scrap Designer Series Paper

Scrapbooking with Scrap Designer Series Paper

I hope you’re not tired of scrapbook pages yet!  For some reason I’ve just been in a scrapbooking mood.  I saw a fun scrapbook page made using torn pieces of designer paper and I figured it would be easy to replicate the idea with scraps of our Designer Series Papers.

Do you have any long skinny strips of DSP laying around?  This is a great way to use them!  I simply tore the edges and layered them for a sky and grass effect.  I tore up various pieces of yellow DSP and there’s a sun!

I used the Inspired by Nature stamp set and Boho Blossoms punch to add some colorful flowers to the page.  I wish the picture was better for you, it just doesn’t look as nice here as it does in person!

Here are a couple close up shots for you – they show the color a lot better!

I hope that gives you a glimpse of the beauty on this layout.  It’s a fun page!

In case you think I haven’t been working on any cards, here’s a glimpse at what I’ve been doing. . . I was commissioned to make 60 onesie cards.  They’re not done yet but you can see the process thus far.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  I look forward to Donna’s Stampin’ Up! party today near Lancaster!

  1. I really like the torn paper effect; it’s perfect for kids’ photos!! Nice job.
