Scratch Paper Desktop Organizer

by Becky Jensen on July 6, 2009

Stampin' Up! Exclusive Butterfly DieI had a chance to try out a pattern I’ve had for a little while.  This is a cute little organizer for on top of a desk to hold scratch paper.  I stamped each of the pieces of paper in the organizer with “wishing you happiness today & always” from the Heard from the Heart stamp set.

The butterfly was cut out Beautiful Butterly using the Beautiful Butterflies Stampin’ Up! exclusive die and the Big Shot.  I cut one butterfly out of the retired Taste of Textiles cardstock and the other out of the new Melon Mambo.  A little Organza ribbon and it’s finished.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.  I hope you will take a moment to leave a comment so I know you’ve stopped by!  Have a wonderful week!

I’ve seen patterns for these, but I never thought of using it for scratch paper. My dad cuts up all his old paper to use for scratch paper, and this would be such a nice way to hold it. Thanks for the idea!

I think it’s another great gift idea!-and it would be fun to make too!
I would be able to pick colors/patterns for each person I have in mind.
