Seaside Vacation Scrapbook Layout

Seaside Vacation Scrapbook Layout

Today’s layout is a little different, but I like the way it turned out!  Of course once I knew what I was doing, I had to reprint my pictures . . . in black and white!2-page scrapbookYou certainly don’t have to have b&w pictures for this layout.  Personally though, I would like to do more with Black and White pictures . . . I just need to get a little better at changing them from color to b&w (is it ever as easy as it should be??) and then actually get them printed as such!  The pictures on the right-hand page turned out a little darker than I wanted but I’m taking the blame for that.

You’re not really here to critique my photo editing skills though, right?  I pulled out some retired Bashful Blue card stock to give a little sliver of color to the Basic Black, Basic Gray, Smokey Slate and Whisper White.

Stampin' Up! ScrapbookingI am really liking the new Little Letters Thinlit Dies!  The letters are a perfect size and I found myself using them on all of the layouts this month!  I will give you a warning though, these little dies can get lost incredibly easily!  I made the mistake of not putting a few away immediately after use the other day . . . and then spent much time trying to find 2 missing dies.  There’s nothing like going through the trash looking for such little things!  (No, they were not in the trash but I was worried!)

Thank you for coming by to visit today!  I look forward to seeing some of you in Scrap Club on Monday to make this lovely layout!

  1. Oh Becky, what a wonderful job you did creating the “Seaside Vacation Scrapbook Layout” in black and white, it’s getting to be my favorite. Be sure to keep good tabs on the little dies, we enjoy every word you use to describe your creations. Thank you for sharing again today and have a wonderful weekend.
