Shaker Frame Snow Much Fun

Snow Much Fun stamp set

I’m excited to share this fun card I made for the Technique Club.  Due to the flooding earlier this month we postponed our meeting until this evening.  I can’t wait to share with the ladies how to use the new Shaker Frames in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  Shaker cards have been around for years but these new frames make them so easy to do!

On this card I had fun using the Letters to Santa DSP, Quilted Satin Cherry Cobbler ribbon, Lots of Tags Sizzlits dies, the Petite Pairs stamp set, and lots of Basic Pearls.

Handmade Shaker Card

I got the idea for using the snowman from the Snow Much Fun stamp set with a shaker frame from someone else, I love it! This is the first time I’ve had a chance to put the Mica Flakes to use.  Pretty cool!

You know, I think Tech Club is one of my favorite classes to prepare for.  I love using the fun techniques we learn to make sample cards to share with those in the club!  I love taking the time to create with techniques I don’t normally have a chance to use.  I love learning new techniques just like the members do!

  2. I’ll be there and can’t wait to see how this is done. Not sure about all those little, tiny pearls – tweezers???

  3. Great idea! Cute card too!

  4. Love this! For some reason I love snowman cards. Could it be because I live in Florida?

  5. Very cool card! So the technique was to use the shaker frames it sounds like? Very cool!
