Snow Play Scrapbook Pages

I had some ladies over to scrapbook this morning and then this afternoon I sat down for some more scrapbooking.  This layout is of my sons playing in the snow last winter.  We will be doing this as one of our layouts for Scrapbooking Club next week at the Stewartstown Mason-Dixon Library.

Here’s a close up of the left-hand page.  I used the Serif Essentials alphabet die with the Big Shot to cut the letters for “SNOW.”  The snowflakes were cut using the Snowflake #2 die.  The colors for this page are Night of Navy, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise and Taken with Teal.  I don’t often find myself using the turquoise and teal colors, however, they matched wonderfully with Ethan’s snow suit.

I’m not sure how well you can see them but the Ice Circle brads match wonderfully with this color combination.  I used some of the blue and the teal on this page.

I stamped snowflakes from both the Snow Swirled and Serene Snowflake stamp sets on the page for a little variety.  The brad you see in the middle of the snowflake on this page is from the Pretties kit, it has a clear rhinestone.

The letters on this page were cut using the Timeless Type dies which is my favorite of the alphabet dies I have!

Thank you for looking.  I would love to receive your comments if you have a moment.  I look forward to doing this layout with the Scrap Club on Monday night!
