Snowflake Merry Christmas Card

Snowflake Merry Christmas Card

Will you forgive me for pulling out a retired stamp set for this Christmas card?  A while back I put together an order of new Christmas stamps and eagerly awaited their arrival.  After a week and a half I started to wonder when it was going to arrive.  You know, it always helps to actually submit the order!

So, not that I didn’t have a few new sets already to play with, I still went ahead and pulled out some snowflakes from last year to use for this card.

One of these days I’m going to get myself in order and offer this stamp set, and several other retired Christmas sets, for sale here on the blog.  Soon  . . . . hopefully!Snowflake Christmas card

I did use a new embossing folder at least!

By the way, the new stamp sets did get ordered and have now arrived, I just need to find the time to play now!  Does anyone have a few extra hours to share with me?  Hopefully I’ll get to spend a little time with the sets today.

Hope your day is a wonderful one!

  1. The “Snowflake Merry Christmas Card” is just beautiful Becky weather it is retired or not. I love the colors that you used instead of the traditional red and green. It is supposed to rain today so you should have plenty of indoor time. We are very patient and any card that you create is just fine with us, especially those of us not lucky enough to attend your classes. Thanks for sharing today’s beautiful creation. Have a great day whatever you choose to do. 🙂

  2. This card is awesome!! What stamp did you use?? your cards are great!! Simple but elegant!!

    • I used the Letterpress Winter stamp set which is now retired. I will be selling the set if anyone is interested.

  3. Hi, Becky!

Love that you combine a “newbie” with an “oldie” for this card! We ALL have some of those “oldies” and it’s so nice to see them revisited, too!

  4. I can hardly wait to see what you are going to put up for sale. I think everyone loves a sale. I have purchased a few items from “STAMP THAT”, and have used the items for gifts. The first thin they ask is, “where did you purchase such excellent stamps and some of the other items”? Becky, I am sorry that I missed the posts for Oct. 2 nd and 3 rd. Would you be able to send them again? If you can’t, I understand. 🙂
