Stamp That Pennant Banner

Stampin' Up! Pennant dieI recently purchased the Stampin’ Up! Pennant Die for the Big Shot.  This die was designed by and is exclusively sold by Stampin’ Up!  I think I’m really going to have a lot of fun with this one.  There are two size pennants available on this die.  In this picture you can see that I adhered the smaller on top of the larger.  The letters were also cut using the Big Shot and the Serif Essentials Alphabet die set.

In the second picture you can hopefully see the details a little better.  I used the Encore Gold ink pad to stamp the swirls from the Baroque Motif Stamp Set onto Not Quite Navy cardstock.  The little flowers were cut out with the Boho Blossoms punch.  Between each pennant is a scalloped circle (made with the scallop circle punch although there are scallop circles that are part of this die) cut from our Brushed Gold cardstock.  The large pennants are cut from Sahara Sand cardstock and then attached together with narrow Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and Sticky Strip.

SU! Pennant dieThis banner is hanging in my basement where I can see it when I sit to stamp.  One of these days I will post pictures of my stamping area as I know some like to see how others set up their stamping areas.  I hope many of you who are able will venture over sometime for one of our PMS nights or just to visit so you can see for yourself if you’re interested.  Now, in saying that, I must admit that I am a very messy stamper.  It’s always best if you give me a heads up before coming or you’re liable to be very dissapointed in my organization!
