Stamped and Burned Ornaments & A Sale

Stamped and Burned Ornaments & A Sale

Did that title get your attention?  I hope so!  We’ve been making some fun ornaments at our house and I’m excited to share them with you!  These are so fun to make!

Check out my Dashing Deer ornament.

I gave a couple of these ornaments to family while the boys were deer hunting in West Virginia.  Somehow it seemed like the perfect little gift to give.  I stamp the image onto a wood slice and then use a wood burning tool to burn over the image.  The stamped images work beautifully!

The boys have been getting in on the wood burning as well.  They are making ornaments for their co-op teachers.  I thought I’d keep it a little more simple for them so it wouldn’t take as long, seeing as we only have one tool to share among us.

They have done the snowflake from the retired Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set.

I think their teachers will enjoy receiving these.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this idea!  I’m sure if you look closely at the Christmas Tree in the StampThat Studio you will probably get to see a sample or two!
