Don’t you love this cardinal? He is from an old, retired stamp set called Christmas Cardinal. I am about to offer this stamp set for sale, simply because I need to clear out retired sets, but I really like him, he looks very regal. It is hard to see here, but in person the cardinal and leaves shimmer due to the shimmer paint. (We’ll be learning about that at the Technique Club this month!)
The cardinal is the top of a box to hold a set of tile coasters. This is a chipboard box that can be found in many craft sections, I just covered it with cardstock. Once again, you can’t tell in the picture but the Handsome Hunter and Real Red cardstocks shimmer.
Here’s a peak at the tile coasters that are shimmery! I am hoping this set of tiles will sell well at the markets. (As you can tell, I’ve been working on lots of projects for the market, I tend to do so in spurts.)
