Stampin' Up! Courage Stamp Set

Courage stamp set

I’ve been asked to create a scrapbook for my brother who is retiring from the Air Force in exactly two weeks.  Needless to say, that means I need to work fast!

This is the opening page of the scrapbook.  I used our Real Red wide grosgrain ribbon along with Whisper White taffeta ribbon and the Courage stamp set.

Praying Soldier Stamp

Here’s a close up view of the the stamped images.  I spent a very long time coloring this, trying to make it perfect.  The quote from Churchill is heat embossed in white so it will stand out nicely.

I know I promised to show you some peeks at the Funky Folds class, they’re coming, I just had to show you this first, I’m always excited to show you what I’ve been working on the most recently.  Thank you for coming by to visit, keep coming back!

Becky that is a beautiful page. I love this stamp set. Please thank your brother for his service from me. My son is serving in the Marine Corps.

This page is very inspiring and beautiful. We are all so indebted to our servicemen and women and we need to honor them.

(I would love to be a mouse in the corner when your brother opens his scrapbook! I know he is going to love it.)
