Stampin’ Up! Courage Stamp Set

by Becky Jensen on December 6, 2009

Courage Stampin' Up! stamp setI made this framed piece earlier this week.  I bought the Courage stamp set a while back but have yet to use it.  I love the image and so appreciate our soldiers who fight for our freedom.  The Winston Churchill quote in the frame says, ” Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities, because it is the quality that guarantees all others.”

The frame is a little busy for my likes but I think it works ok.  I guess it kind of emphasizes the Stars and Stripes.
What do you think?  The colors used are Real Red, Night of Navy and Whisper White.

I like it. The stars background is not overwhelming at all. These would be good duplicated and sent to the troops for Christmas. Thanks for sharing.

I think it is wonderful! I also think I should get this set and make one for my son who just swore into the delayed entry program for the Army yesterday. Once he graduates high school he’ll be off to basic training and into a career in the Army. So proud!
