Stampin’ Up! Homemade Tags

Homemade stamp set

Last evening I sat down to create with the Homemade stamp set.  The school my children attend in Shrewsbury, PA has a Silent Auction coming up.  The Kindergarten class is putting together a basket of of goodies for baking cakes.  I’m afraid the only cakes I bake are out of a box . . . I included one of those but I’m not sure how exciting that is. . .

I thought perhaps it would be fun for the winning bidder to have some fun tags to use with their baking creativity.  Naturally I really couldn’t know how many tags they will need, so I’m also including the stamp set and punch so they can make more of their own!

Close up

Here’s a close up view of one of the tags.  If you look closely, you’ll see I put one of our basic pearls on each of the cupcakes.  I used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green for the outside of the tags and then Whisper White with Chocolate Chip ink.

The Silent Auction is on the evening of Saturday, November 12.  If you are interested in more information on the event, feel free to contact me, I would love to share it with you.

I have another, larger, project planned for the auction, I will share that with you a bit later when I receive the rest of the supplies and get it finished.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you find some time to stamp today!

  1. I love the added detail the basic pearls add to the cupcake icing – makes it look 3-D. This would be a great prize to bid on! 🙂

  2. This is an exciting donation to the auction – I’ll be there!

  4. Hi Becky,
I’ve been enjoying all the posts recently. not sure which are the cutest but today might win out. very clever. I’ve actually been making cards to fill my sister’s card keeper box and so far so good. but my craft table is a disaster area. How do you keep things neat when you’re making cards.

    • Thank you for your comment Coleen! I’m glad to hear you’re filling the Card Keeper for your sister! 🙂

As far as the mess that accumulates when making cards . . . . I’m sure mine is just as big as yours, if not worse! The only thing that keeps my craft room looking half-way decent is all of you wonderful stampers coming over! You don’t know how much time I spend picking up before every single class in the StampThat! classroom! There’s the mess of making the projects, and then there’s the mess of prepping the projects for class – trust me, it adds up fast!!!

      Becky 🙂
