Stampin’ Up! Papaya Collage Vintage Style Card

Stampin’ Up! Papaya Collage Vintage Style Card

I went in the vintage direction with the Papaya Collage stamp set for this card demonstrating one of the techniques I’m teaching two my two Tech Clubs.

What do you think?  Did I pull off the vintage look?  I think I did.  The Crochet Trim definitely helps!  I used an assortment of brown shades – Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso.

I’ll probably keep my posts short this week as we get ready for school to begin and all the fun activities that involves.  Keep checking back though, I have fun projects to share!

  1. What a pretty rose, a “very” pretty card – and definitely vintage! Looking forward to learning the technique.

  2. This is magnificent!! I love everything about this card, and yes, the vintage look was perfectly achieved! Your creations continue to amaze me 🙂

  3. The “vintage style card” is beautiful. I love the vintage style and the colors used to make it. Thanks for sharing.

  4. …oops. Now that I see it on a larger screen, it looks more like a peony! (But not like a papaya!) 🙂

  5. WOW! Talk about popping! That card is so pretty and definitely vintage!

  6. What a beautiful card. I know this card is 3 years old. But I am new to SU and just discovering different ideas. I absolutely love this one. Did you ever sell a tutorial on how to create that style?
