I’ve had this container (undecorated) for about a year now, there used to be plants in here from my grandfather’s funeral. Unfortunately the plants didn’t make it but I don’t want to part with this lovely container, for multiple reasons.
As I went through my ribbons, picking out the retired spools, I new the exact place I want to store them (well, some of them, they won’t all fit. . . .)
I used the Big Shot and Scallop Circle Dies to cut a bunch of scallop circles out of plain copy paper. I also punched some scallop circles using our new 2 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch (it layers in there perfectly!!) I didn’t have any DSP in the colors I wanted so I decided to make my own. Once I had the circles cut I stamped them in Pretty in Pink and Bravo Burgundy with the vine stamp out of the Vintage Vogue stamp set.
Once the paper was ready I scrunched it up and used a jumbo brad and pearl to hold it all together with the Old Olive Satin ribbon.
I used the Scallop Trim Border punch on one side of a 6″ x 12″ sheet of Bravo Burgundy cardstock to place on the shelf below my “new” and beautiful storage giving just enough color contrast to make it stand out (in a good way!) Doesn’t this section of my craft room look nice? I only wish I could say as much for the rest of the room! I’ve got a lot of work to do before Tech Club Thursday night and the party Friday!

This is a cute idea. Thanks for blessing my day.
Very pretty container; a nice way to save it, too, for memory’s sake.
Very, very pretty! What a clever storage idea!
I love your cards and ideas. I wish you would show more of your room and how you store your supplies. This is a hobby/business that seems to require many pieces, and I struggle on how to keep everything organized and neat.
