Stampin' Up! scrapbook club in Stewartstown, PA

I communicated with the librarian at Mason Dixon Public Libarary in Stewartstown, PA today.  It’s official, we are beginning a Scrapbook Club!  The club members will meet every third Monday of the month at 6:00 P.M.  As with many clubs, this club does require some commitment so please read through all the details.

Here are the details, I would love for you to join if you are able!

• When:  3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 P.M. (members may come as early as 5:30 to get started if they would like.)  We will be done by 8:00 as the library closes at that time.  Our fist meeting date is Monday, March 16, 2009.
• Where:  Mason Dixon Public Library, Stewartstown, PA
• What:  We will make six 12×12 scrapbook pages (typically in two-page layouts but not limited to this) which will be preplanned by me.  I will cut and prepare, you assemble.
• Who:  the club is open to new and experienced scrappers,  I am there to walk you through the process and assist in any way I can.  As we go along you will learn tips to help you create your own pages at home
• Cost:  Members of the club will pay $15.00 per month, one month in advance so I can purchase supplies.  Members are asked to make a 6 month commitment to the club.
• What to bring:  You will need to bring your own adhesive, it will not be provided, along with a snack to share and your pictures (I will let you know what pictures you need in advance so you don’t have to bring them all!!
• New members:  We will accept new members at any time, with a 6 month commitment, as long as there is an opening.  We are capping the club at 12 members to insure we all have the space we need.
• If you are unable to attend one month:  You will get your supplies from me and I will email pictures to you so you can assemble them yourself at home.  I may also offer maykeup dates in my home on occassion.
• Benefits of the club: I plan all the layouts, you walk away with multiple pages done in a little time, you do not have to invest in supplies that sit around your home – I provide them all, meet new friends, inspiration . . .
• Registration:  You can register at the library or by contacting me.  If you wish to joing please give me the following information:  Name, phone number, email address, what are the majority of your pictures taken of?
