Everyone always seems to like the Dahlia Fold. It’s very eye catching and intricate, and yet it is not hard to make. I have done the dahlia fold several times before but always on scrapbook pages, this time, I wanted to try a card.
I must admit that I have a hard time putting large images (be it stamped or otherwise) onto cards sometimes. They take up a lot of the card but yet not all of the card . . . so what do I do with the rest of the card?
For this card I used the swirly stamp from the To Have and to Hold stamp set to stamp the background. Inside the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware is “Friend” from the A Little Somethin’ stamp set. A little Chocolate Chip narrow grosgrain ribbon, and a flower from the Trio Flower punch and there you go.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Don’t forget to fit a little stamping time in there somewhere!
Because I am new to stamping – my new stamps – when using the stampin up craft ink, how do I clean my stamps? Do I need to clean the ink off of the stamps each time I use them? Or is it okay to let it dry and reuse the stamp at a later date.
Thanks for the help!
