Triple Serene Snowflake Card

MDS Christmas CardRemember this card I showed you last week?  I made this using My Digital Studio.  I said at the time that I wasn’t planning to print it, just use it as an idea for making a “real” card.  Okay, I did that today and here is the “real” card.

Serene Snowflake & Modern Lable PunchAs you can tell, they are definitely different but at the same time they are very similar in layout.  I simply changed the colors and used square punches to fit the snowflake I wanted to use.  Instead of buttons I used brads.  I really like the buttons from the first picture, however, seeing as we’re going to be making this card on Monday at our Christmas Card Class, I had to change the design as I don’t have over 100 buttons to cover all the cards!  By the way, there’s still one spot open for the class but I can’t wait much longer to fill it, I have a lot of prep work to do!  Contact me ASAP if you’d like to join us!

My new Modern Label punch just came in the UPS truck today, that’s the Ballet Blue punch underneath the Word Window Punch and “MERRY CHRISTMAS” from Teeny Tiny Wishes. I can tell I’m really going to like it!  In that same box was the Gifts for Christmas stamp set found on page 37 of the Idea Book & Catalog.  Boy do I like that set!  I’m very excited about it!  I decided on a card we’ll be making with it for the card class on the 19th.  I would have loved to do it this coming Monday but I need to get some supplies.

Stampin' Up! Holiday Blog TourHave I mentioned there is another Holiday Blog Tour coming up?  Yes there is and I’m going to be participating in it again!  The dates are November 19-22 and each member of the tour will be posting new pictures each of the 4 days.  I hope you will plan ahead to join us each day as we share lots of last minute Christmas ideas!

  1. I love the Becky-version of the snowflake card! I really like the blue and white combo. Secondly, I am really looking forward to the next blog tour. That was a lot of fun to see different ideas the past time 🙂
