Valentine Treats for my Boys

Valentine Treats for my Boys

Valentine’s Day isn’t a really big deal in our house, but I do try to have a little treat for my boys.  I placed their treats, along with a valentine they received in the mail, on their plate before supper last evening.  It’s not incredibly exciting, but I still thought you might like to see the packaging.

Treat Box

Micah is registered for a cake decorating class, so I packaged up some icing colors which he will need for class.  I used a retired box along with Dapper Denim DSP and some ribbon which was in the Holiday catalog.

Quick Valentine treatJaan’s little box came in a My Paper Pumpkin Kit at one time, it held a miniature stapler.

Valentine Box

Ethan’s box is one I made a few weeks ago as a demonstration at Linda’s stampin’ party!  His box held some Post-It Note pads.

Such simple little gifts in pretty packaging, but my boys are happy.  Ethan was carrying around his Post-It Notes looking for any excuse to use them last evening while Jaan was showing me the tricky way to put staples into his new stapler.  Sometimes the simple things in life really are the best, aren’t they?  How can you brighten someone’s day today?

I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day!

  1. You come up with some great ideas Becky, like todays share, “Valentine Treats for my Boys”. I think you had a great idea when you came up with this one. Your Loving Family has a very special year ’round “VALENTINE” who always know what it takes to put a smile on their faces no matter what the occasion is. I think the “BOX” idea is a great one for any occasion, don’t you?? Have a great day creating Becky, we all love and appreciate all that you do here. 🙂
