Visiting the Bay and Christmas Scrapbook Pages

Visiting the Bay Scrapbook PageBethany Beach Scapbook PageBayside and Bethany LakesHere are some scrapbook pages I put together this morning.  These pictures are from when we vacationed at Bethany Beach.  The home we rented was within walking distance of the Bay so we walked there one day.  The colors I used here are Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue and Basic Black.  I used a stamp from the Yummy stamp set which was available as a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set last year.

The Scrap Club is going to be doing a layout very much like this one.  Like I said yesterday, I don’t have any Christmas pictures to scrapbook right now (I’m all caught up!  Wow!).  So, I made the water scrapbook pages so you can get an idea of how the pictures will be laid out on the Christmas pages.  Here are pictures of the pages we’ll actually make in club with Handsome Hunter, Basic Black and Real Red.  The stamp is stamped in gold and is from the Patterned Pines hostess stamp set.

2-page Christmas Scrapbook LayoutChristmas scrapbook pageWe had a wonderful time at Technique Club last night.  The ladies were excited to turn “ugly” looking drops of ink into “beautiful” pieces of background paper and much much more.  I told the club members last night that we were raiding the Bathroom closet to help with our techniques.  We used everything from an iron to rubbing alcohol and cotton balls.  Don’t you just wish you’d been there to see what we were doing??  I’m very excited to have 7 members in the club now and I’d love to see even a couple more join.

Thank you to all who have joined the Polka Dot Ribbon swap.  We have filled out the first round.  If there is anyone else who would like to participate please contact me and we’ll see if we can get another group together.  I’m already making mental plans to have more ribbon shares during Sale-A-Bration so be sure to keep an eye open for those!
