Watercolor Wonder Crayons Sympathy Card

Fast & Fabulous Hostess Stamp Set

It has been awhile since I sat down with the Watercolor Wonder Crayons.  What a shame!  I really should sit down with them more often!  The stamp sets used on this card are the Fast & Fabulous level 2 hostess stamp set and the Thanks for Caring stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog on page 13.

Thanks for Caring stamp set

Here’s a close up look.  I used the new Framed Tulip embossing folder along with Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon, watercolor paper and  Hodgepodge Hardware for this card.  Oh my, I think it is going to be hard to make cards without using the Framed Tulip embossing folder!  It’s just so much fun!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today!  I hope you can find a couple minutes to create this weekend!

  1. This is a lovely card. Both the embossing folder and the Thanks for Caring set are on my wish list. I hope SU creates more designs in this type of EF. Pam

  2. I was wondering how did you us the crayons. Do you just color it in? Is the stamped images like in black and you color in the image? I never used them. Beautiful card.

  3. This is so lovely!!! Inspires me to get out my Watercolor Wonder crayons, too! Thanks for sharing, Becky.

  4. This is really pretty, Becky, esp. the shading on the flowers. Good job! It’s OK – we will not mind seeing 20 more cards made with this EF!

  5. Lovely.

  6. This card is so beautiful. Thanks for blessing my day. 🙂

  7. This card is beautiful. I think I will need to put that EF I my wish list. I have never used the wonder crayons.

  8. This is very elegant. Love it!

  9. very pretty, very dainty…. loved it!!

  10. This is such a pretty card. That embossing folder enhances your card and frames the beautiful image perfectly.

  11. This is gorgeous. I am a new demo and not familiar w/the w/color crayons. Not very good at the coloring & shading technique. You must be a true artist. Do you ever share techniques for your work? Just lovely!

  12. Wow – it took me awhile to find you. Via Mary Jo’s 1/26/11 post featuring this card. Wanted to see your info on it because I think it is a stunning card. Thanks so much for sharing.
