Wings of Friendship Level 2 Hostess Set

Wings of Friendship stamp set

I sat down for some fun stamping yesterday and here is what I came up with!    I can’t believe how many similarities it has to the card I made a little while back with this very same stamp set, Wings of Friendship.  I didn’t intend to make them so similar but I guess sometimes a stamp set just strikes you one way and it carries over into many of the creations.

Handmade & Handstamped Card

The colors I used on this card are Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Bashful Blue and Very Vanilla.  This is one of those cards where I thought I was finished and then I’d set it back, look at it and add something more, only to do those steps over and over again.

Some of the “added” effects were the Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip stitching (drawn on with our Stampin’ Write Markers), Very Vanilla Brads from the Very Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware kit and the Bashful Blue sponging on the scallop circle.

The bird, vine and flower stamps are all from the Wings of Friendship level 2 hostess stamp set on page 14 of the Idea Book & Catalog and then I used the “friend to friend” stamp from the Love You Much set on page 44 of the Idea Book & Catalog.

I’m not sure if you have been noticing some changes on the website, they probably have not been real noticeable to most of you.  I do want to point out the new way to do your online Stampin’ Up! Shopping.  You can follow this link or the “Shop Stampin’ Up!” button at the top of the page which will take you to my new page which includes a copy of the Stampin’ Up! hostess benefits chart and a big button to click on to take you right to shopping.  Before it was a little bit complicated finding your way through everything.  I hope this will make it a little easier to do your 24 hour shopping!

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you’ll take a moment to leave a comment and let me know you were here!

Nice addition to your site. I’m glad you chose the Baroque swirl; I really like it. Pretty birdie card, too; I like your design and the added touches – the thingamabob that does the job! I’m not sure I have the patience for the marker stitches, but it does add so much.

Love it! The ribbon treatment is fabulous, and I love how you stamped the bird in a circle!
