You’re So Sweet, Enjoy a Treat!

You’re So Sweet, Enjoy a Treat!

As some of you may have realized, our family was away on vacation last week!  I’m afraid my internet access was a bit spotty, so I decided not to fret about it and just enjoy the time with my family!

I’m back though, and have things to share with you.  On Monday or Tuesday I will be sharing the new class schedule through September – yay!  That is one work task I did work on while away.   We’ve got some fun classes coming our way!

In the meantime, I thought I would share the little gift I prepared for the man who checks on our house while we are away (and he takes care of Stampin’ Up! boxes that come during that time, so of course I need to do something creative!) I asked his wife if there is something he likes and she mentioned a bag of M&Ms.

M&Ms I can do . . . but not in a boring bag!You're So Sweet stamp set

I bought a glass jar and then decorated with some retired ribbon and a stamp from the You’re So Sweet stamp set (page 16 of the new catalog).  Cute and simple!  It took me more time to sort the colors of M&Ms with a spoon than it did to decorate the jar!

This would be so cute if you need a hostess gift for your 4th of July celebrations or even a decoration/snack to set out if you are hosting at your own home!  (By the way, it took almost 2 full bags to fill this jar!  Good thing I grabbed that second bag!)

Thank you for coming by to visit today.  I enjoyed my vacation, and now I’m ready to get stamping!

  1. I am sure you enjoyed vacation time with your family. Thank you for sharing “You’re So Sweet, Enjoy a Treat!”, which made a wonderful gift for the man who takes care of things while you are away, a big thank you from everyone here. I love the way you decorated the jar and separated the colors of candy. Have a great day.

  2. That’s so cute! What a great idea! I might have to do this for my brother since he has a yearly July 4th party! Maybe I’d better buy 3 bags of M&Ms so I can sample while I’m sorting 😉
