This month’s Blog Tour is centered around Memories. The fact that I need to get Scrap Club layouts prepared for our Club meeting made it pretty to easy to determine where to go with this tour! I’ve got some Scrapbook layouts for you today!
I’m an old fashioned “Scrapbooker” (my computer says that’s not a real word . . .) I don’t do digital, I don’t normally do pocket pages, I like to dig in and work with all the paper and embellishments and printed pictures and so on!
I pulled out a number of free Sale-a-Bration items for this layout! It’s a simple one showcasing pictures of some homes on the island of Dominica. My husband and I took a group of teenagers there on a missions trip back in 2003.
I do not do my pages chronologically, just in case you were wondering. I tend to jump around a lot. I finished this layout and then went right to work one with pictures from 2011.
Below is a picture of the second layout I have ready for Scrap Club!
This one uses some more of our SAB DSP and I pulled out the Balloon die and the Celebrate Today stamp set to add a Hot Air Balloon! Makes me think of spring!
I sprinkled on some of the In Color Sequins to add a little splash of fun!
Can you see the dimension to the hot air balloon? It will pop up when laid out like this but then fold down nice and compact inside a scrapbook. I’m really liking these hot air balloons!
I hope you have enjoyed the simple scrapbook layouts I have shared with you today. I should have the third layout ready to share here on StampThat on Saturday so I hope you will stop back to visit! You can continue along the Blog Tour to visit Anne Matasci.
Actually Becky, your scrapbook pages look more real by doing them your own way, I am like that too. To many things have gone digital, but not my brain either. Thank you for sharing your beautiful works of art, and keep the hot air balloons coming, I love them!!
