I wanted to use the beautiful Good Morning Magnolia stamp set for our Weddings & Anniversaries Class. I’m really going to miss this set once it is retired. The large magnolia is so beautiful, but for this particular card uses the smaller flower. The silver embossing gives such an elegant touch to this card, don’t you think? It’s even more elegant in person of course when you can see the gleam and texture of the embossing a little better.
The Good Morning Magnolia stamp set isn’t the only thing I used on this card that is retiring. Do you know what else is? Yes, that beautiful Seaside Spray In Color which I’ve mentioned may times. Something else. Yep, the Stitched Shapes dies. One more thing. Are you stuck? The sentiment is from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set which is also retiring. Wow! That’s a lot of retiring!
Technically, you could argue that there is one more retiring item on this card. You may have noticed that the embossing powders were also on the retiring list. Don’t panic. We are not getting rid of our embossing powders. Stampin’ Up! has decided to put our embossing powders into combo packs, so instead of purchasing individual colors, you will be able to purchase in sets of three colors. The Basic pack will have black, white, and clear while the Metallics pack will have copper, gold, and silver.
Thank you for coming by today. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this card. Soon we’ll be able to see that new catalog and start playing with new goodies!

What a stunning card…Would love the measurements of the card…Thanks for sharing!!!
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for your comment! I no longer have this card, but I know the card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ fold in half. There is a latyer of 4″ x 5 1/4″, and I’m guessing the banner to be 1 1/2″ wide. The oval looks like the largest from the Stitched Shapes dies. Hope that helps!
Absolutely magnificent card! How did you do the silver embossing?
Absolutely stunning! TFS
