Love Is In The Air Blog Tour

Love Is In The Air Blog Tour

It’s been a few years since I’ve participated in a Blog Tour and I wanted to get back into it again.  When my upline offered some open spaces, I jumped on it!  Welcome to those of you coming from Connie’s Site!

This month’s theme is Love Is In The Air.  With Valentines Day coming up, it seems appropriate!  Unfortunately, I’m not in Valentines mode yet (but I guess I should be, shouldn’t I?!)  I do have an idea in mind though . . . Something Borrowed DSP WreathWouldn’t this lovely wreath be beautiful hanging at a bridal shower or as part of wedding decor?  Imagine decorating a Bridal Shower with this wreath and then giving it to the Bride for her new home!

Handmade WreathI used the new Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper (item #137785), the new White Jute Ribbon (item #137904), along with a couple of our dies.  I love how it turned out!  I think I’m going to hang it in mybedroom!

Bridal WreathI think this would make a lovely gift as well, for a wedding or anniversary, or just anytime (I would love it anytime!)

Of course you can’t give a handmade wreath as a gift at a wedding without a beautiful handmade card to go with it, right?

Handmade Monogram Card

How about a lovely monogrammed card with the initials of the bride and groom?  The new Sophisticated Serifs stamp set (item #137161) is perfect for this!  Of course the new Something Borrowed Embellishments (item #137855), down in the bottom right corner of the card, dress up any card and make it special!

Stampin' Up! Sophisticated Serifs stamp setHere’s a simpler version which is still quite lovely!  This card would also be great for the bride and groom to use as their thank you notes after the wedding!  Make a stack of these cards and bundle them up and you’ve got another cute wedding/bridal shower idea!

You're Amazingly Amazing

Or, perhaps the bride would like some Thank You type cards for a gift.  The cards say “You Are amazingly Amazing” (from the Painted Petals stamp set, item #137146), perfect for thanking those who help decorate and make the cake and clean up and . . . you get the idea.

A stack of these cards can simply be tied together with some of our White Jute ribbon and look beautiful and ready to gift!

What bride wouldn’t love to get a wreath with a matching card and a matching set of thank you notes?

I’m enjoying the new Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper with its soft colors and designs.  It looks so love on both cards and the wreath and I’m sure it would be lovely on scrapbook pages and favors and . . . everything!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today.  I hope you will continue on to visit Anne Matasci and the Creations she has to share while Love Is In The Air!
