100th Day of School Project

100th Day of School Project

Friday is the 100th day of school at our school for this year.  That may not seem like much for some, but it’s a big deal if you are in the lower elementary grades these days.

Ethan is looking forward to wearing his pajamas to school that day and partying!  Another part of the celebration is a 100 Day Project.  He is supposed put 100 objects (they can use cotton balls, gold fish . . .whatever!) onto a poster-board and get creative.

I came up with a fun idea and he approved so I put him to work!100 Day ProjectEthan wanted to stamp the tree from the Sheltering Tree stamp set but alas, it’s not quite that big, I sketched it out and he did the rest.  I purposefully pulled out a piece of 12×12 card stock for this project, after all, it’ll be a ready made scrapbook page for his book!  (I’m learning!  I try to have the boys do their school projects on 12×12 when possible!)

There are 100 “snowflakes” floating around on this page.  He used the Big Shot to cut some shapes and then added buttons and sequins and all kinds of embellishments.   The very last step was to add some Dazzling details on the tops of the branches to complete the snowy day vignette.  Didn’t he do a lovely job?

Before you go, here are the Stampin’ Deals for the week.
