Majestic Mountain Dies from Stampin’ Up!

Majestic Mountain Dies from Stampin’ Up!

I love when you can use a set of dies independent of the stamp set and they still work sell.   Does that make sense?  Some dies are made to cut out a specific stamped image and if you don’t have that image, the die doesn’t make sense.  Other dies can stand independently and you still know what they are.

The Majestic Mountain dies are some that can be used independently and still make sense.  They coordinate with the Mountain Air stamp set.

In this card you can see how the stamps where used, but then die cut images were also used on their own and now stamped image was needed to figure out what they are.

Do the Impossible Cycling Card

Do the Impossible Cycling Card

The Do the Impossible stamp set is another set I purchased due to having three sons.  This isn’t a stamp set I would normally be attracted to, but since my boys like to ride bikes and swim (with one being a lifeguard), it seemed like I should purchase this set.

This set certainly came in handy for our For the Guys class recently!  Here is one of the cards we made with it.Continue reading

Mountain Air Stamp of the Month

Mountain Air Stamp of the Month

I had such a great time preparing for the Mountain Air Stamp of the Month class which was held last week!  This set may not look like much when you look at the individual stamps, but when you put them together (and add in die cut images as well), wow!  You certainly can make some beautiful cards!

I think I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite from the five cards we made in class.  They were all so different and and turned out so lovely!

Here is one of the cards we made in class.

Card for the Musician in Your Life

Card for the Musician in Your Life

I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued up through 11th grade when I told my piano teacher I was done.  Silly me.  I picked it back up again in college as a music minor with piano as my primary instrument.  I’ve taught piano lessons at different points in time and find myself going through times when I’m more apt to sit down and play than other times.  Right now is one of those times when I’ve been finding it relaxing and stress relieving to sit down and play.  All that to say I knew as soon as I saw it that I would be purchasing the Music from the Heart stamp set from the Spring Catalog.

Here’s a card I made from Linda’s stampin’ party last week using the set.Continue reading

Pedal to the Metal Guy Card

Pedal to the Metal Guy Card

I have a fun card for you today using the Pedal to the Metal stamp set.  Having three boys, this stamp set jumped out at me as a fun one to get.  I envision using it on some of my scrapbook layouts.

So there is a truck, a dirt bike, and then one other vehicle in the set (along with a 3 other stamps).  Is that last vehicle a dune buggy?  It seems kind of fancy for a dune buggy, but it’s not a four wheeler either.  I’m going with a dune buggy.

Anyway, that’s the stamp I pulled from this set and combined it with the Waterfront stamp set.  See what you think.Continue reading

Happy Birthday SAB Card

The Happy Birthday to You stamp set has been a very popular free stamp set option during Sale-A-Bration.  Do you have your set?  This is definitely my favorite stamp set option (and I don’t even eat cake)!

Check out this card I made last week.
