Handmade Father's Day Card with King of the Grill

King of the Grill stamp set

I wanted to share one of the cards I taught at a card class in Holtwood, PA last night.  We used one of the new stamp sets in the Stampin’ Up! Summer Mini Catalog called king of the Grill.

The ladies had several options for the sentiment which all come in the King of the Grill stamp set.  I personally decided to make the card into a Father’s Day card, I thought it would be nice to a little ahead for a change!

The colors used on this card are Whisper White, Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip.  On the background piece of white cardstock we used the Medallion stamp along with the Color Spritzer and a Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Marker.

This weekend we have another Blog Tour coming up!  I hope you’ll plan to join us for lots of exciting projects.  We’re going to be focusing on special occasions such as weddings, babies and the like.  I look forward to seeing all the neat ideas that are sure to be shown!

  1. Now that’s cute! I like the color combo, and it’s a nice use of the medallion stamp, too. And you still got ribbon in it, too. 🙂

  2. Love the way you used Medallion as the background, love it.

  3. That’s a great card – I’ve never thought of pairing those (Medallion) together, but I TOTALLY love how it turned out! 🙂 tfs
