Handmade Home Decor Wreath

Handmade Home Decor Wreath

All Occsion Handmade Wreath

I was recently commissioned to make a wreath with earth tones and barn red.  Here’s what I did.  Do you think I was able to capture what she asked for?  I’m taking it to her today, so I guess I’ll find out.  I hope so!

Handmade Flowers

Here’s a close up of some of the handmade flowers made with card stock!  Don’t be fooled, they’re not silk flowers, trust me, a lot of love and care went into making these flowers.  Aren’t they lovely?  I had a lot of fun making them!  The colors are Riding Hood Red, Very Vanilla, Summer Starfruit and Pool Party.

Comfort Cafe DSP

I used the Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper to cover the clothespins.  That is, of course, where I got my color combination for the flowers from.  (Tip:  If you ever having a hard time choosing colors for a project, I suggest pulling out some designer paper and then working with the colors in that paper, it can help a lot!)

Are you asking if I’m going to to have a class for this wreath?  I know at least some of you are, I’ve already heard it!  The answer is “Yes!”  Check out the details below and mark your calendar.  And yes, I’ll be offering it by mail too!

  1. And they say that clothespins are just for hanging clothes!! You did a beautiful job putting this wreath together Becky, and the flowers look like they were fresh picked from your garden. Thanks for sharing.

  2. This is gorgeous! I’m sure the receiver will love it! 🙂

  3. Hi Becky,
Your wreath is beautiful and you have some of the nicest and highest quality flowers I’ve seen. I’m a Canadian SU demo who is planning on making my own paper bouquet for my upcoming wedding – would you have a tutorial or post on what you used to make these?

  5. This is so beautiful! Loved it
