Heard from the Heart Sweet Pea Card

Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Card

I made this card yesterday when I had a few minutes to sit down and play.  I just got the 1 1/4″ Striped Grosgrain ribbon as part of the last product share (yes, I like to participate in those too!) and I wanted to put it to use!  Be sure to check out the new Stampin’ Up! Product Shares I posted yesterday!

Heard from the Heart stamp set

I decided to use the Sweet Pea Stitched felt instead of a bow to spice up the card a little more.   To get the effect I wanted I used a large brad to pull the ribbon together and then adhered the stitched felt to the brad using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The stamp set I used is Heard from the Heart which is a great set that covers several occasions.  The colors used on the card are Real Rose, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.

Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I Texturz Plates

Can you see the swirly texture on the Very Vanilla cardstock?  I used one of the Stampin’ Up! Backgrounds I texturz plates to do this.  I wish is was easier to photograph the texturz so you could see it better but .  .  .  .
