My Paper Pumpkin Banners

My Paper Pumpkin Banners

I thought you might like to see how I used my July My Paper Pumpkin kit!  Well, part of it, there are actually quite a few pieces in there and I haven’t used them all yet.

As some of you know, we have decided to homeschool this year.  That was a HUGE decision that was not made lightly!  Yesterday was the first day of school.  I wanted to make it special for the boys so I did a little decorating.Welcome banner - handmade

School will take place in the StampThat Studio (not at the same time as stamping classes) so this cute welcome banner really serves a double purpose!

confetti bannersI also made a banner for each of their chairs that has their grade level on it (3rd, 5th, and 7th).  You may be able to see their clipboards that I decorated as well as the little My Paper Pumpkin Diamond boxes on the table too.  My sister told me I had too much time on my hands, but when I see the excitement in their faces over the extra little touches, it’s worth it!  They were so excited to have a little personalization!

I simply put little post-it notes in the diamond boxes that they can use as bookmarks but it was fine with the boys, they thought it was fun!  Of course my youngest asked if I’ll put something in the boxes every day . . . . Ummmm. . .
